Motherless Quadruplets Need Help

Greetings distinguished board members, family and friends. Yesterday, 7th December 2018,  I received a very pathetic news:

Mr and Mrs Chiedozie Okeke wedded on November 27, 2004. They waited patiently for 14 years before their prayer for children was answered.

On November 28 2018, exactly 14 years and a day after their wedding, Mrs Okeke was delivered of a set of quadruplets  – a boy and three girls at the Wuse District Hospital. But on the evening of the same day, after the delivery, Mrs Okeke passed on.

The children were delivered in their 7th month after conception and have been transferred to the National Hospital where they are kept in incubation.

The Hospital authorities say the babies are ok and should be discharged to make room for other preterm babies. But the babies have no conducive home to go to because the Lugbe village residence of Mr. Okeke is assessed not to be conducive. He was managing the room and parlour with his late wife considering that the babies are fragile and delicate.

There is a need for caregivers and space for all 4 babies and the caregivers, feeding, clothing, toiletries including diapers etc.

Adinya Arise Foundation is currently making arrangements for medical insurance for the children but this can only be effective from next month after.

The deceased mother was a civil servant while the husband is jobless and highly traumatised.

The process for trauma management commenced today but practical steps to saving the lives of these lovely babies are needed.

I humbly request your direction and support in this regard.

Thank you,

Mabel Adinya Ade, for Adinya Arise Foundation
